AP Govt. in Trouble over Slain Maoists?
We have already reported that 24 Maoists were killed in an exchange of gun firing with Andhra Pradesh police near Odisha-AP border on Monday. It seems that the AP state govt. has come under the scanner of law in this connection.

The Hyderabad High Court has directed AP state govt. to preserve the bodies of all the slain Maoists at King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam until 27th October. The High Court's order was the result of a petition filed by a civil liberties activist seeking comprehensive probe into the gun battle. In the petition, the activist suspected that the incident might be a case of alleged encounter by the AP police.

Further hearing of the case will be held on 26th Oct.
